i was brought up from birth as a jehovahs witness.
this has played a major part in my life and it has been a real struggle to get past.
The wagons have circled. I give up but only because everyone of you are so close minded. Ravyn, I read your post ... youv'e had enough life time experiences for a few people.
Who would all of you have to blame for all your problems if it wasn't for the big bad WTBS. Don't you think it's time to shut the door on the past and move on. Really, there is more to life.

Ravyn: I've resorted to emails so I won't be seen as a troll. But my last 2 emails go out without the message so maybe there is another type of troll operating here.

Good story but do you think if your family was any other religion that they'd have treated you any different?
i'm really concerned about a close friend of mine.
she and her husband stopped going to the meeting about 10 years ago (that's not why i'm concerned) but remained pretty low-keyed up until about the last year.
we've obviously talked at great length about the religion and how it screwed us royally and have even had some laughs over it (i've shown her some of my posting here and she's roared with laughter).. a few years ago, she got a tatoo because she always wanted one and of course couldn't while she was a dub.
Mary : Been there ... done that. Let your friend (grown woman) decide her own future without recrimination. She does that enough herself.

Actually, earthman, I just reread my first post you and I think I was quite civilized. Where do you come off ragging me out after my friendly welcome and all.
